Morning sun, afternoon shade, or all day filtered sun. They like humidity so at least 12 inches of mulch around tree that will stay damp throughout day and also will filter junk out of water.

Some do, some dont. Every year is different. Longan though are very easy. Fruit no matter what the weather is.
