Critters in Grass?

Posted by gallen Phx, AZ (My Page) on

I noticed when I was working on my sprinklers that when ever I touched the bermuda grass in the area (and, for that matter, all over the grass) that a
lot of tiny light colored bugs would fly up in the air. I can't really see them
to tell you any more about what they are since they're so small but there seems
to be a lot of them no matter where I agitate the turf.

Any ideas as to what they are, if they need to be treated, and, if so, what to
use?

Thanks!

Could be white flies. I get them when temps are right but since they don't seem harm the bermuda or my roses, don't come in the house or attack the cats, I leave them be. One guys pest is another guys food source.
