I say this every year: I'm starting my plants with seeds. Then I get behind, the seeds sit in their box and I rush out to get transplants. I really need some color so right now - today - I want to get some flower seeds in. What do you think of this calendar? Have they got it right for Sept. and Oct.? What would you suggest? Would love some success stories as I often feel I just rent plants. (Marigolds are a big case in point; I can't keep a transplant alive so it would be much cheaper to sow seeds.)
