I wanted to purchase a large Ficus tree (about 15+ feet tall). I noticed at the nursery these are doing pretty well in a relatively small pot. The place I would like the tree is on top of flagstone near our pool so in-ground planting is not an option. Could I buy one of those giant pots you see that are 3 feet high and wide, and plant the tree in the pot? Would it do OK in there or bust out eventually?
