| Question for the forum - are borer beetles common in ash trees in the Phoenix area? I have some redwood ash trees, one of them struggling over the others (I think more due to lack of watering by the previous owner), so half the bark is peeling off while the other half is fine. Not sure why its doing that and I don't know much about this species. One tree has had some wilting and loss of leaves, the other two have full canopies and remain green, save from some wind/heat burn on the end of the leaves. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks! |
