Nighttime temps might be a little low right now depending on what variety/cultivar you used.
For rye grass to germinate daytime temperatures must be under 100(preferably under 90) and nighttime temps must be above 60(preferably above 65).
Also for rye grass to germinate the seed must be kept moist at all times(not soaked but moist), if it drys out even for a very short time, it will not germinate(or die very soon). I run my sprinklers 5 times a day while germinating(but only for 1-2 minutes per zone).

If you still have older grass seed next year you can test it by putting some in a plastic zip bag with some water to see what percentage sprout. Keep it indoors for a good temp range.
