Greeting fellow gardeners. I'm new to AZ and this forum, so any help IS appreciated. We just planted two 24-inch box Emerald PV and two Willow Acacia. Actually, Moon Valley Nursery did the planting and staking. I'm just tending to them now. The first thing I'd like to do is add more mulch/compost around the tree bases. A LOT more. So, I'm looking for the best retail source around the N. Phoenix area for bagged mulch/compost material. Any retail source suggestions?

You can get free mulch delivered by tree service companies that use chippers and work in your area, for example, Integrity Tree Service. You can also call your electric company and request a mulch delivery. They'll give you plenty!

I'm curious: If MVN planted the trees, why didn't they properly mulch them? You can get bagged mulch at any nursery or big box store, including MVN.
