where did you find yours? I have been looking all over for one!

Wish I knew the answer, but Desert Gardens Nursery in the North Valley (N Cave Creek) could probably help with the question. They specialize in native plants and are willing to answer questions. Also, I've seen Milkweed there as recently as a week ago.

I would've either gotten mine at Desert Survivors, or at the Arizona Desert Museum fall 2012 plant sale. Can't remember exactly.

I doubt it about transplanting. Most desert plants, except for succulents don't transplant well at all in my experience. Your best attempt would probably be when the plant is growing least and the weather is not too hot.

I've moved mine a couple of times in mid-spring and they did fine, just be sure to get almost all of their roots (no major taproot) and disturb the roots as little as possible. The root ball isn't that big. I don't water them for several days after moving them, but it can be done. I would not do it now as the temps are so cool. If you can live with it until spring, I'd do it then. Great, fun plants aren't they?

Wanna run, if you live in the Phoenix metro Baker and Berridge nurseries almost always carry them, and the big box home improvement stores often do in spring too. Happy gardening all!
