Oh No! Neighbor's Dog Likes My Bush

Hi all,

Yesterday, while coming home from work, I noticed that one of the neighbor's (huge!)dogs was urinating on my Boxwood bush. Maybe this finally explains the mystery of why some of my Boxwoods have struggled, while others have done just fine.

Anyhow, I've always assumed that dog urine would be harmful, is that correct? And so now I am wondering if I can somehow neutralize the urine or maybe just do a deep watering to 'flush' out the urine? Any tips? I don't want to lose my Boxwood as it's looking quite lovely and healthy!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

dog urine kills grass due to high nitrogen. I would guess the same to be true for a boxwood. So yes a water flush will work if you get it in time.
