I have seedlings of Pleioblastus Shibuyanus 'Tsuboi'from the recent flowering of this species. I have three plantings of it and two flowered this spring. I potted up the seeds this spring and they've been growing well since. Now there are rhizomes poking out of the drainage holes of the pots and they've become well established. Unfortunately, none of them are showing any variegation. They are all green (whatever the original is). Other than that, they're fine plants and very vigorous. If you'd like to try a bamboo that will be very unlikely to flower for a long time, this is it! Let me know if you're interested and we can make a trade.
