i have a small bamboo patch which was put in the ground less than a year ago and it has now flowered. i would like to get any info regarding this and the collection and identification of the seeds. i sourced this from a cutting from our botanical gardens in Trinidad (caribbean) and although my research has led me to believe it is gaudua angustilolia i am still trying to cofirm this. the pictures i am posting does not show the thorns, which is one of the criteria i am useing to identify it as guadua.. the picts. i am sending shows the plant and the "flowers"
any assisstance in identifying what the seed looks like or any other info would be apreciated.
thanks Richard

Hello, would need pics of the plant... up close and at a distant too. A newly sprouting culm would be most helpful in IDing the plant.

Unless by chance someone here has personal experience with this plant and its seed appearence
Blessings,
