Whitened Buddha's Belly Leaves

Hi all,

I love bamboo and have been growing it for about 2 years now. I have the Buddha's Belly Variety and they are all doing well....except one.

The leaves appear "scorched" and whitened on the upper and outer parts of the plants. The culms are fine...green.

I live in Tucson and the plant thrives off the intense sun it gets which is about 6-7 hours a day. My other plants are located in corners while this one is next to an open fence. Any ideas as to what may be causing the white scorched look of the leaves? Thanks.
