Phyllostachys bissettii grove in snow...

We had a dusting of snow this morning, so I rushed out to get some pictures before it melted.

This is my Phyllostachys bissettii grove, it's a circle about 30-35 ft in diameter with a trench around it. There's a walk through the center with a stone bench.

The bamboo reached 14 feet high this year and is filling in nicely.

WOW! That's very nice looking! It looks like a nice place to take a walk.

Thanks for posting.

Aha! I've been wondering if there is a bamboo that will handle the Klamath Basin in Oregon! I'll see if I can find this in the spring.
