B chungii Culms

Chungii still has the most white powder, but has been slow to put up shoots...only two this season, again.

It has the longest internodes out of all of my bamboos. Directly behind the chungii is pachinensis.

Very nice. Is the spectabilis still stroking?

Barely. The culm still has colour, and it has only a couple of green leaves, but when the cooler weather comes, I think it will pull through. This heat is hard on new divisions, but cooler, not cold, but cooler weather seems to ease the shock of transplant/division, I guess because they are not as actively growing as they try to be during hotter weather. Thanks again for the bamboo.
