If you are planning on growing then in the same area, it would look nice, as long as they both grow in your area.
P.b. Castillonis does not do well here, but p. nigra thrives. I think that Castillonis needs more root/rhizome area and nigra can get rootbound and still look great.
Thank you Mersiepoo and Kentuck for your answer,and advice. Mersiepoo,excuse my poor English,what i wanted to say with "more valuable" was "rising the beauty" of this bamboo! I have read on a book that the "Phyllostachys castillonis inversa"could be a good choise to add at the "castillonis". Of course it won't shock,but i am afraid it will be insipid.... What is your opinion ? phil
