I live in coastal socal 1 mile from the beach and have a few qustions re divison of a p. nigri that is basicly root bound in a 24" nursery box.
#1 What is best timing for division.
#2 Recomended fertilizer and timing.
#3 how much can i divide without severly slow shooting.
#4 Is tip burn to be expected this close to the beach.
#5 will it suffer in full sun.
The plant is basicly healthy with the exception of tip burn and it does not seem to like all the wind we have been having. It shot approximently 30 culms last summer. Thanks in advance
