What types of Bamboo to Plant

I am brand new to the world of bamboos. I live in SE Michigan and recently have noticed all sort of Bamboos living in this area. The house I bought has some thin branched type (1/2" dia) that grows only to about 5-6' high, but I've also seen others with really defined trunks (2-4") and grow to 15-20'.

Can anyone recommend some bamboos that will fill in a 20x30 area of my backyard quickly with partial sun that will stay green and have larger trunks.

Oh, also a place that I might be able to buy them.

Arrowhead Alpines in Fowlerville has a couple varieties for very reasonable prices.

They open for the spring around April 1st or so.
