lucky bamboo 'lost' branches and leaves....revive it?

My cat decided that he was going to devour the branches and leaves of my lucky bamboo plant, and in the process he managed to break the vase that held the stalks. I transplanted the two stalks that survived into a clear glass vase. This happened two months ago, the stalks are still very green and appear to be healthy, but I lack a green thumb. Does anyone know of a way to revive the growth of new branches and leaves, or if the plant is suffering from shock? I keep the plant watered and in a cool, low light area.

thanks,
3dog

Depite the name, Lucky Bamboo is a houseplant (Dracaena sanderiana) and not a bamboo. There is a separate Lucky Bamboo forum here on GardenWeb where you will find lots of info.
