Hello, I just bought two 7gallon Gigantochloa Atroviolacea - Tropical Black Bamboo from Tropicalbamboo.com. I am looking to place one within each rear corner of my fenced back yard. From the inside corner of my fence, I measured 100 inches to create an 8'4" radius. My plan is to pop one of these black bamboos pretty much dead center in these areas.

Since it is near the fence line, and my dogs love digging... I wanted to put some small shrubs right up next to the fence line. I was looking for recommendations of stuff that might eventually pair well with the black bamboo.

Then in front of where I will be planting the bamboo, I would like to plant some low level flowers or plants
