Lucky Bamboo Cuttings? ((Dracaena sanderana))

I picked up some really long Lucky Bamboo stalks (18") this week and they
are too tall for my vase. If I cut them in half or by 1/3rd will the lower
portion (with the roots) sprout new branches and will the upper portion
(with 2 branches each) re-root?

And yes, I realize this isnt bamboo, but this question isnt about species,
just propagating what I have.

thanks!!

chaz

Lucky Bamboo is not actually a bamboo.

You might try the houseplant Forum.

Plant them in moist soil for better results.
