I'm in CT and interested in planting some clumping bamboo. At first, I was thinking of the taller running bamboo but bamboo is under fire in the state because some people failed to contain it properly (not sure if the state will make it an invasive plant).

Anyway, I was interested in planting Sunset Glow as a screen near my neighbor's fence. Question: do you recommend that I use a barrier with this variety of bamboo or does it grow slow enough to contain adequately? I just don't want to see it dipping under my neighbor's fence :)
