Oh how happy I was. posted 4/20. we had a late hard freeze and wiped out every new shoot of my p. dulcis. I was really bummed but low and behold mrs. boo knows what she's doing. For every shoot that was lost there is a new one poking it's little nose out to the world. Happiness returns. had a few vivax shoots that also froze off from root balls planted in Feb. but they are also putting up new shoots. Golden is going nuts , almost afraid to go water without a safty rope LOL. moso is having a real tough time with the late freezes but keeps on trying with a new shoot every few days. it gets extremely hot here in no. cal. I hope it gets enough top growth to get through the summer. Spring is an exciting time...
