I am looking for about ten 8 foot bamboo poles. I plan to make some eco-friendly tomato trellises -- I spent my garden budget on soil... forgot about the trellising so now I'm trying to do it on the cheap!

I am willing to come cut them myself if you have a host I can cut from (you can even tell me which ones, although I'm not looking for thick diameter stuff). I am located on the southern peninsula of the SF Bay area and would be willing to drive about 40-50 miles.

I am also willing to trade some vegetable seedlings in return for your time and your bamboo.
