Bamboo Flower?

Last fall, I planted 9 Aur. Sul. Spectablis -- this spring, I noticed on one plant, on one culm, on one branch - what I think might be a flower that has gone already to seed. Is that possible?

The plant has about 4 culms ~ 4-8 feet high, has another 4 shoots coming up.

I will try an post the pic of the "flower/seed"
