| I want to plant a screen of bamboo to drown out a very noisy neighbor. Does a mature grove of Yellow Groove (or similar variety) provide significant sound reduction? How thick should I allow it to get?
Thanks!! |

| What kind of noise is the neighbor making? Vocal, machine, house repair, love noises? To be effective, a few hundred feet thick should be sufficient. Sounds travel well, and a thin screen will not cut it. |

| Bamboo is great for visual screening, but you will notice little if any sound reduction even with a thick grove. Sorry... |
