I might be interested... you don't know what type?? What's the general diameter of the bamboo??

It's not very big at this point. It was originally a bonsai given to us by a Japanese neighbor when we lived in the Bay Area. I believe he said it was madake, but his English was minimal and my Japanese nonexistent. We planted it out and while it has grown lots of canes, they are only about an inch in diameter.

That said, we've had several responses from Craigslist, so it may all be taken this weekend. I think my husband will let people come dig it Saturday afternoon, so let me know if you're interested in participating. Thanks for asking!
