bamboo that won't take over?

I want to put in an oriental themed garden, with a section of sand and stone, and a few specimen trees. As a transition and/or boundary to the rest of the yard, I was thinking of putting in some bamboo, but I don't want something that will try to take over my yard! I already have a weeping willow and a ginkgo in that part of the yard, which will put out more and more shade as they fill out, so I guess I need something that will take at least part shade, but I'm open to suggestions for full sun too.

Any suggestions?

Bambusa multiplex (100% top-kill during the winter), Fargesia rufa, robusta, or nitida will all do fine in that zone. Talk to Mary Silverman (www.midatlanticbamboo.com) and she can recommend more selections.
