Wow, those are beautiful. Are they clumping or running variety. What is the botanical name.

I think they are Dendrocalamus Minor var. Amoenus if I'm not mistaken and that is a clumping species if I am correct.

Just wait till that baby sizes up. I have a large stand of D. minor.It was a 15 gal division planted in 2004. My culms are 3 inches measured a foot above the ground. I put a heavy layer of horse manure around all my plants in the early spring. You may want to try it. Rich
