I couldn't figure out how to do more than 1 picture at a time on the gallery page. If you copy the long link in my first post and then paste into a different web browser then that should take you to the correct link. Thanks!

I did copy and paste the link and it only takes me to the login page, not your picture(s). I suspect it works for you because you're logged in to your Kodak account or have a cookie on your computer. It's correct that you can ony do one photo at a time in the gallery, but that's your only choice, unless you know HTML, or can post the correct link for others to view, or can post at some other picture sharing site like photobucket.com.

Hard to tell, maybe Phyllostachys bambusoides? Do the culms have white powder beneath the nodes? If so it could be Ph. vivax. Nice find, but both would be sorta marginal in MI.

P.aurea aka Golden Bamboo aka fishpole bamboo.

A close-up of the lower culms will be helpful. How tall and thick are the culms?

I just posted more photos of this bamboo on photobucket.com. Please take a look and let me know what you think it might be. The bamboo is 1 1/2" - 2" in diameter + or - a little, and is probably 25'-30' tall. Thanks guys!!!

Still looks like P. aurea. Are there any compressed nodes on some of the lower culms, resembling a handle?
