Bamboo transplants

Hi,

I've been lurking here for a bit and was hoping to get some help/suggestions for the bamboo that I've just transplanted. I'll try to be as specific as possible per all the comments I've seen thus far. The day we dug them up it was a cloudy/rainy low eighties. I wrapped the roots as not to dry and planted them immediately and watered them well. I've trimmed off some of the lower branches but left the height 12-15ft. I've watered them each day; the ground has remained moist. But the problem is the leaves are curling and turning yellow. The yard they came from seemed to be pure clay and my yard is a black soil. I'm wondering if this is just part of the adjustment process and they'll come back or if they're just not going to make it? Thanks for any help!
