I am looking for recommendations for a bamboo hedge. It will go in several 2' x 4' x 2' planter boxes that are along the side of my yard. The containers are open at the bottom so would prefer a clumping species. The area gets a couple of hours of afternoon sun, but is otherwise shady. The ideal max height would be 8-12 feet.
