| The overall form, slight curve to the culms, size, shoots, and small number of new culms each year suggests Dulcis to me. Just a guess... |

| Thanks for your replies! I did some research for the Ph. Rubromarginata and Dulcis. My bamboo does not have red color on new shoots as Rubromarginata and does not have yellow green striping as Dulcis. I think it looks more like Phyllostachys aurea. It is very invasive here in Georgia, but not on my property! I wish it can "infest" my backyard! Any other ideas? Thanks! |
