need advice

I have a huge yard but just a 20 foot portion of my fence is open iron that I want to hide and make private. Would Golden Bamboo be good there? I was told at the nursery that it's fast growing and would do what I'm wanting. If not what should I use? It would be full sun.

Phy. Aurea(golden bamboo) would do fine, but you would have to put down a barrier, or contain it somehow or it will take over you whole yard instead of just along the fence.
