Eek. I wish I lived near you so we could trade but I am in N. Ga. Have you ever tried propagating the Textilis by branch cuttings? If so, did it work?

Have you successfully propagated by Branch cuttings with any of the bamboo you have?

Most of my propogation has been from culm cuttings. My success has been about 60 percent. The culms need to be at least a vear old. I know you are in N Ga. but it would be worth the trip. I have over 50 varieties. I will be taking a large grove of Alphonse Karr out soon. You can't grow D asper where you are at. Rich

Man... I wish I had the time right now but I don't. I would love to see your garden one day though. I go down to FL every once in a while to visit family, but right now I am pretty busy.

Do you think that maybe you could take a culm division, root it cut the rooted node or few and ship to me and I can pay shipping and send you a plant in return? OR would you perfer not to ship?
