growing bamboo

Hello Everyone,

I just started landscaping and I would to grow bamboo in a tight space, if possible.
Space to be used for planting. 15 inches by 100 feet. There is a brick wall that is approx 5ft in height along the length.
Inventory: Four 15 gal black bamboo. approx 8 to 10 ft tall.

Questions.
1. Can I separate my existing bamboo to get the new shoots without killing the existing bamboo?
2. Is the space too narrow to be used for bamboo?

I just started gardening/landscaping. Although I finished my front yard, I am new to gardening. So, any feedback will be much appreciated.

Thank you
