Cold tolerance of Otatea acuminata ssp. Aztecorum

Does anyone have any experience how the cold tolerance of the Mexican Weeping bamboo compares to a Bambusa Oldhamii or Bambusa Chungii?

Most sources seem to indicate about 22F which is a little bit less tolerant than an Oldhamii or Chungii however first hand experience often proves useful.

Mine has done very well the past 4-5 yrs here in Texas. It has seen temps in the range of 15 degrees but for short durations. Had slight leaf loss at those temps. It is surrounded by tall trees and not out in the open though which helps slightly.
