| i only grow 2 bamboos. this one and pl. fortunei. In our gardens, the viridi. grows in dry soil/ light shade conditions and when we dig it up its roots have no soil clinging to them. is this the same for youall?
what is the appropriate time to divide this bamboo? if it isn't now, what is the danger of doing it now? do youall have the same experience w this variety that we do- that it retains its bright yellow variegation even in shade? It has leaped far beyond the pots it's planted in and we need to take control of it...... thanks much, mindy |
