nice yellow groove pictures

This is yellow groove bamboo I got from Brad at the Needmore Bamboo nursery in Southern Indiana two years ago. It's over 8 feet tall and I haven't babied it at all. Good stuff....actually I planted it the way he said, mulched it with 6 inches of leaves the first year, but then didn't do anything to it at all last summer/fall/winter. I didn't even water it. It put out lots of new shoots this spring, too.
Thought he might like a shameless advertisement! By the way, I'm in zone 5. The yellow groove pictures are the last ones in the July album.

Here is a link that might be useful: yellow groove pictures

sandy0225, I love your pond. I was suprise that you have
such a tropical like setting in z5.

What is the floating plant with the big round leaves
in the middle? Is it a kind of water lily?
