| This is yellow groove bamboo I got from Brad at the Needmore Bamboo nursery in Southern Indiana two years ago. It's over 8 feet tall and I haven't babied it at all. Good stuff....actually I planted it the way he said, mulched it with 6 inches of leaves the first year, but then didn't do anything to it at all last summer/fall/winter. I didn't even water it. It put out lots of new shoots this spring, too.
Thought he might like a shameless advertisement! By the way, I'm in zone 5. The yellow groove pictures are the last ones in the July album. |
