Please post a picture. I have not heard of black bamboo in flower anywhere...although I guess yours could be the first!

Here is a close up of the seeds(?) That shoot has grown about 2-3 inches a day and the stalk is about a quarter of an inch thick. But like I said before, I could very well be mistaken and this could be something else compleatly. Thanks for any help

It almost looks like some kind of weed is growing in the pot, and that is what's flowering.

yeah, thats what I thought at first. But now the stalk looks almost like it could be bamboo. I Don't know.

False alarm...that's clearly a weed, and not a bamboo culm. It looks like you have grass and weeds all around the base of the bamboo; I'd pull them.
