Looking for someone with black bamboo in San Pedro/South bay area

I have a concrete planter in my backyard that needs some black bamboo to run all over it. It's a perfect spot. Anybody got some around these parts that might be will to spare some cuttings? I'm willing to trade something or pay a small fee.

You will need to actually get a root ball, preferably with one or more culms. You cannot propagate Black bamboo from branch/culm cuttings; rhizome (root) cuttings, if successful, will take a number of years to produce decent size culms.

Thanks for that. I've since moved on to buying some Alphonse carr plants and I'm getting ready to plant them today. I just posted seeking info on planting in another post on this forum. Maybe you can check that out and shoot me some answers. Thanks again
