| Good morning, I am new to bamboo, but not new to gardening.
I am interested in bamboo that will survive the winters here in wisconsin. Two possibilities come to mind, one would be for bamboo fishing poles, like I used 50+ years ago. The second would be for a screen between my 5 acres and a relatively busy highway. I would sure appreciate any information anyone can help me with, and any leads on where to get starter plants. Thanks Much, Jonathan |

| Jonathan- Wisconsin is pretty marginal for success with bamboo. However, it may be possible. What USDA Zone are you in, and what are your winters like? |
