Need bamboo ID. This is a running type, right?

I was sold these bamboos two years ago and was told they're clumping giant timbers but it's been two years and haven't seen much growth from them until now. I started seeing small shoots sprouting but far away from the mother plant. Anyone know what type of bamboo this is? I'm pretty sure this isn't a clumping type of bamboo.

The mother plant is on the right and the small shoots are on the left side there.

Sorry...from that photo it could be any one of 50 different green bamboo. However, I do think it is a runner. And it's typical for bamboo to do not very much in the first year or two in the ground.

That's a runner for sure.
Clumpers don't spread like that.
The Clump will get thicker.

well then I'll have to rip them out. I planted some much bigger giant timber bamboo next to these small ones thinking they're the same type.
