Bamboo with Yellow Stalk

Hello - I have a bamboo that has a yellow stalk. The leaves are green and fine. But the stalk has turned yellow almost brown. It looks as if it's dried out, but I keep watering it regularly. It's a small shoot in a small container with rocks in it. Any suggestions on how to bring the stalk back to life?

Sounds like you have the houseplant called (unfortunately) 'Lucky Bamboo', even though it is not a true bamboo at all. Post your question in the Houseplant Forum, or better......the Lucky Bamboo Forum.
