Clumping Bamboo suggestion for Nashville TN

Been looking around at different clumping types, most say not for hot dry areas, Nashville gets pretty hot in the summer. I'm wanting to use it as a privacy screen, I'd like for it to get 10' or more. I don't have the space for a runner. The location will get mostly shade until about 11-12 and then sun till about 5-6 in the summer. I have the plan of putting 2-3 divisions in a corner of the yard along a fence as well as a small pond.
Any variety suggestions are greatly appreciated

Are runners in Nice planters out of the question? That would open the possibilities. I have several runners in planters on the deck and if a rhizome peeks over the top...I just redirect them back into the planter.
Just a thought.
Your zone 7 like me... but I think you summer heat is a bit more than ours.
I'm sure one of the resident experts will chime in shortly.
Blessings

Try Bambusa Oldhami --- its suppose to be super fast growing and can take low temps.
