There are about 1200 species of bamboo. With the minimal info you provided, no one can identify it.

What color are the culms (canes)? Are there a large number of thin culms very close together or are there a fewer number of thicker culms spaced a little further apart? If thicker, what color are they? What state was this bought in?

Does it look anything like this? If so, it is probably fargesia rufa because home depot and many other garden centers will mainly carry that type.

The culms is little lit red, large number of thin culms very close together,I lived in ontario, canada, I'll post a picture soon.
