indoor bamboo - fertilizer help

Posted by atarinox (My Page) on

Hi,

I have 2, 3 ft. bamboo plants in a jar of water which have been doing well for about the past 6 months. It seems like recently the new shoots started dying off, and losing their green color, turning white.

Does this sound like a nutrient deficiency? I haven't added fertilizer to the water at all since I got the plants, just replaced the water occasionally. What sort of fertilizer would work for this situation? Do I just mix it in w/ the water?

thanks

You've got "Lucky Bamboo," a houseplant which is not really bamboo. You'll have better luck with your questions in the Lucky Bamboo forum.
