Hello everyone. I'm obsessed with finding the name of this gorgeous bamboo from downtown Charleston and have searched the web to no avail. Does anyone have any idea or direction they can point me?

I'd love some help!

Here is a link that might be useful: Bamboo from downtown Charleston

How large is it? Culms thickness and height?

From the photo, it appears to be one of the bambusas, but hard to tell which one.

It may be B. oldhammi or B. beecheyana.

More photos would help.

Thanks for the help. Looking at the brick edging at the bottom of the pic makes me think the culms are at least a 3" and from memory I'd say 25-30 feet tall. We'd already ruled out B. oldhami but B. beecheyana looks like a possbility.

If I get a chance to get more pics, I'll post them.

looks kid of like B. multiplex 'Fernleaf'

Too large for fernleaf, but it does look like one of the Bambusas.

Could be B. ventricosa but the blue on some of the culms is confusing.

I am pretty sure it is Bambusa Multiplex "Nana".

Nana is a very nice looking bamboo. However, the node rings are different coloured than the OP's picture and the leaves look different also.
