I'm wanting to get some bamboo and it looks like yellow groove does ok in my zone (6a) but its now fall and soon to be winter. So I'm wondering if it would do ok potted indoors until late winter / early spring.

Or maybe I could just plant it now, Think it would be ok?

I guess the best thing to do would just wait until spring but im itching to get something new.
