    Possibly Bambusa multiplex 'Al Karr'.

Can you post some close-ups of the culms?

I googled "Al Karr", it looks very much alike!

Anyway, here's a closer look of the stems:

I would have to say, yes.

Al Karr gets the pinkish colour on some culms and stems at certain times of the year.

It is a pretty common bamboo so you should be able to get some easily.

    Good Luck.

    Thank you Kt!

It looks this kind of bamboo can grow rather tall and I want something with around 6 ft height. I read there's another kind called "Golden Godness", is that going to be smaller?

My Al Karr grows to about 20 feet in height...if given the space. It is said to grow taller.

My Golden Goddess grows to about 15 feet, and it is listed to grow to 10 feet in height, however, mine is growing under a cypress tree which may explain it increase height.

There are even smaller Bambusas. Click Here to see a list of many bamboos. Scroll down to the Bambusa multiplexes. The 'Riviereorum' is listed to only 6 feet. Mine is shorter but it is still in a pot.

That's some good information. Thank you Kt! Will check our local nursery this weekend, hope they have Golden Goddess or the smaller varieties.
