| I was under the impression that Alphonse Karr bamboo was a clumping type. Just got off the phone with someone at a local nursery and they mentioned it was a runner. Are there different types of Alphonse Karr where one variety would be more prone to running? I'm looking at using this for a hedge in an open area and anything that could run would create problems down the road.
Thanks all. |

| Local Nursery is incorrect. It's a clumper - Bambusa multipex Alphonse karr. RGds |

| If the nursery is so uninformed about this bamboo, make sure that they are selling you the right species...or consider buying from someone more knowledgeable. |
